MG ZS TD04 project
Been meaning to re post this for ages as my old thread ended up as an 8 page discussion and not really relevant, so I've shortened it right down:
Old pics but they'll do for now
Upgrades so far include SDi injectors, full 2.5" exhaust system and decat, AP Roversport clutch, a rebuilt gearbox with steel caged bearings and Torsen diff, front and rear strut braces, and Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
It's also had a rather nice brake upgrade:
Rover 620Ti front calipers, 282mm disks
MG ZS 180 rears, 260mm disks
Ferodo DS2500 pads all round
Braided hoses
PF665 fluid
that's pretty much everything sorted to handle the extra power, now for the main part:
TD04-13T-4 - the pic shows it being test fitted with the manifold adaptor plates, the compressor housing has been clocked so it sits the right way round now, also had an exhaust flange made so I'll soon have it all fitted along with a custom downpipe.
Also waiting to be fitted (pics to come):
200TDi nozzles on standard injector bodies
FMIC & alloy pipes
oil catch can
large diameter flexi duct to replace the air box pipes
manual boost controller
These will be fitted soon as well, Volk SE37K, anyone who's into Jap cars will have heard of Rays/Volk. Lightweight forged aluminium, 17"x7.5, 6.5kg per wheel.
