Mgzs Trouble again

i have a mg zs 120 2003 43,500 miles that randomly overheats,I've changed the water pump radiator thermostat and still overheats it makes a gurgling noise sometimes when I start it like someone's having a beer under the bonnet

Can it still be a hgf if it doesn't overheat all the time?
