Purchasing a Rover 25

Hi im from the 75/ZT section of this forum i have been offered a 53 plate Rover 25 1.4 for 150 quid but the Headgasket has gone it has only done around 50,000 miles and has MOT until next year (not sure on month) it could also do with a slight tidying up on bodywork is it worth this as he said he could get that price for scrap
