Removing air con rad/fans/pipes (ZS)

I might have to remove the air con rad and fans as it might be in the way for the intercooler I'm buying.



Is it possible to simply de-gas the system and unbolt the offending parts, will I need to block anything off and will it affect the cooling/air vent system at all?



There are two fans in front of the air con rad. Do these double up as rad fans on the air con models or is there another separate fan behind the radiator (I know I could go out to the car and look for myself but may as well ask while I'm here).
