Rover 45 1.6 clutch issues.

Hi all......

Just bought an '03 plate 45 1.6 hatch. Is a 'part ex' car,bought from a local dealer.....full service history,58k miles in really clean condition....bargain at £325 !



Now..... compared to my '04 plate same model car,the clutch pedal on this one bites very near the top of its travel. Doesn't slip at all....just need to know if a new clutch will be on the cards soon..... Are these adjustable at all ??...... What sort of price would a new clutch run ??....... Rear brakes seem rather poor too,but that's a different issue.....
