Are the cheap ebay oil filters any good

Hi guys,



In NZ the humble K-series oil filter is around twice to three times the price of other oil filters. I see that ebay sells cheap filters. Are any of these good enough? If they are I'd like to buy a box of 10 and ship to NZ.



I do oil changes about every 5000 km using 10w40 or 15w40 semi-synthetic.



PS. it'd be nice if someone hacksawed through a cheap filter and an expensive filter so we can see the difference.
