Cabin /Pollen filter change. How?

Is there a "how to" on this matter? I have just changed the heater blower resistor and can see the cabin filter right behind it. Getting it out does not seem that obvious. Am I missing a simple trick? I should say this is on my wife's Rover 45 saloon!
