Cam shaft sensor??

Hi all. Ive been having issues with my tf135 and its as yet undiagnosed.



So...here goes. It wont start. When it eventually does it runs at about 300rpm and lumpy as ud imagine at that speed. It wont rev at all and shows a camshaft sensor fault.



I have had it looked at by a local mechanic and he has tested the sensor and all is well except it apparently runs rich. He still has the car as... The car wont start now at all. But it gets worse, the sensor fault cleared and the car didnt start and now the fault is back and the car still wont start?



Im not a mechanic at all. And am only explaining it as it was explained to me. Hes apparently checked the lambda sensor and thats fine too. I am loathed to buy a canshaft sensor as he says it works.



Ultimately my question to you is this..what would you do? Is it the camshaft sensor? Does this sound familiar? Help me if u can please.
