Car has developed a "whine"...

Hi,



During our last track day, I noticed the car has developed a bit of a whine...not loud, but noticable. As a friend who was with me on the day described said, we can now say it is supercharged...!



But seriously, just after some guidance if at all possible, which I guess is difficult based on written words on a forum...but could anyone finger point to possible causes? I'm thinking gear box (bearing)? The whine gets higher pitched as the car increases speed - but I can't remember if it is revs related.



I have a couple of videos, but the whine is not very noticable...I'll try and put a link up when I can figure out how to post the things!
