cigarette lighter jammed .

i have a 54 plate conny and i somehow have managed to jam the cigarette lighter in the open position . ie. the flap is down but the lighter is jammed back in its slot and it is solid.

i have tried to get in by taking the cup holder cover off and also the passenger cupholder out , but i cannot see where it is jammed , do i have to do a massive strip down to get this fixed or is there a trick to it?
