coolant/hgf/water pump failure type thread :(

Picked my zr 160 up today. Drove it home over 130 miles never really missed a beat. Got to about 100 miles and eml came on, haven't been able to scan it yet, when I got home I checked to see if it had used any coolant or anything and it hadn't but then I heard a air sort of noise. Tried bleeding it and it's sort of bled up, but the coolant pipes on the bottom of the radiator are cold. I understand the bottom pipe is the cold but shouldn't be this cold. But if in the 100 odd miles I've done there's been no flow surely it would of seized? Any ideas
