Cylinder head skimmed. Opinions please

I have my head back from being skimmed but I'm not sure that I am too happy about it. The area on the edge of each inlet valve has a ragged edge. I am concerned that this might just cause me bother in the future. It looks like they have skimmed the head with the valves in place and the machine has jumped on the valves.
