Is my PS pump dying?
So, backstory:
Rover 45, Derv.
Every morning, I do a 3 point turn before getting to the end of the driveway, and it turns nice and smoothly. But, occasionally, for the past month, as I get to the road to then pull out, the steering nearly locks up with a "cogging" sensation. Bit annoying, but not too bad. Today, parking up at work - it did the same thing, but revving/etc didn't seem to affect it.
Does it sound like a dying pump, or knackered rack? Fluid levels are fine
Got a spare pump, so may swap it tomorrow (weather permitting!) But has anyone else had this happen?
