mgzs td diesel pump

hi just done the timing solenoid on pump to try to cure this tractor syndrome but hasnt made any difference . my mate whos mechanic said he think it could be injectors as its making knocking noise also some said could be manifolds is this the gaskets as i have done egr valve thanks
