Mk2 mgzr front panel

Hi guys just want to pick your brains.

I would consider myself fairly handy with a spanner.

My problem is i have recently purchased a mgzr mk2 105+ yellow 3 door i have noticed that the cross member attached to the front panel is rotten and will require changing.

Has anyone ever done this and how hard is it?
