Rover - type of paint ?

I am trying to find out what type of paint was used on MGR cars, I assume it was 2k epoxy or was it acrylic.?

Having an issue on my 75 restoration car where it had a bit of paint crazing on the bonnet / boot. Did a quick cut back down to the factory primer on the suspect bits and re spray on the bonnet in acrylic which fixed the issue for about 6 months but notice there is small bits of crazing still wanting to come through again.

Almost like there is an issue with the factory primer in parts.

Any thoughts ?
