amazed and confused !

Hi All I have a few chips and rust needs doing on my mgf which i,m getting sorted out , out of interest i looked on the net for a company who does Paint Correction services ( which you can buy in Halfords ) i found a local guy running his own business , i decided to email him for a quote of an mgf , he emailed back and to my horror i couldn,t believe the price !! £895 including the hood weather treated etc , you can get a full respray for £1500 !! Thanks for getting in touch. A Correction Detail on your MGF would be a 2 day treatment involving a multi stage machine polish to achieve the very best finish possible, at a cost of £895. Being a convertible, this would also include relevant treatments for the fabric roof to ensure it looks it's best and is properly waterproofed. Alloy wheels will deep cleaned and receive a protective coating. There would be a choice of Swissvax or GTechniq products to choose from for the final application.
