Wiper arm lifting off screen at speed?

Have noticed that especially on the drivers side despite using a areo foil wiper blade that at speed the wiper is lifting off the screen and not clearing it properly. Up to about 60 mph this is not a problem bu above that the blade is not putting enough pressure onthe screen to clear any water be it rain or screen wash.



Would getting a new arm help as after some 17 years I would have thought that the sping might not be as good as it once was on the wiper arm. However if replacing with new would show little or no improvement would rather not waste the money that could be spent on a better soloution.



The blades them selves are only a couple of months old and o normal driving clear the screen just fine. It's only on faster roads that this problem shows up.
