Boot loom wiring

I suspect that a broken wire in the loom by the boot hinge is causing my intermittent boot open warning light coming on. Haven't investigated fully but moving it around causing it to go on and off so pretty sure this is the problem.



My question is does anyone know what rated cable I should use to replace a broken wire here, 5 Amp, 6 amp, 8 amp?
