Headlights

I recently posted about what I believe to be poor lighting coming from the headlights on my TF. I have noticed that the headlights appear to be 2 slightly different colours. One is a bit dimmer than the other. What could this be indicating? Is the duller headlight on its way out and in need of replacing? Is this an easy plug and play thing to do?
