Not the normal tyre thread

Can anyone explain to me why our cars are so tyre sensitive?



Appreciate mid engine cars are more sensitive than normal cars.



My theories are



Different sizes front to rear?

Tyres that are perhaps biased towards front wheel drive?

Weight distribution...

I remember MR2's having similar issues.



So, there's some clever types on here, anyone confident enough to explain in simple terms why mid engine layout is so tyre sensitive?
