Oil light staying on :(

If I start the car after it's been sitting for a while I.e over night or after work, the oilight stays on until I Rev the car for a few seconds, then it goes out. It started of by taking longer and longer to go out and now it does not go out on its own. I've left it for a minute and it's still illuminated as I said until I Rev it a bit

Any suggestions?

P.s I thought I'd add a bit at the end about the drivers heated seat. It works but once it warms up it turns off and dosnt heat up anymore until I turn it off for a while, the light is illuminated all the time though, it just dosnt stay hot!!
