Rover 100/Metro Alloy Wheels

Hi



I have a 1997 Rover 114 SLI and I recently bought and refurbished a set of Alloy Wheels that were offered as a dealer option on my car. From my understanding they were the alloys that were on the Rover Metro GTA (the 5 spoke ones).



Anyway I took them to get fitted today and they don't fit onto my hubs, the Alloys are too small, I am pretty confused as these were the dealer option wheels on my car so why don't they fit?



I have measured and there is a 1 inch difference in size as regards the inside of the wheels, were the hubs on the Rover Metro different to the Rover 100 or did Rover keep the same design of wheels but change the size of them?



Is there anything that I can do to get these wheels to fit my car?



Any help anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.
