Coming soon to England to buy a MG TF...

Hello,

First of all, Happy new year and sorry for my bad english but I don't practice regularly since 20 years.....

I'm french and was a previous (proud) owner of a MGZS 180 between 2002 and 2007. Now I'm older (47) and I'm about to buy an RHD MG TF (135 or 160) directly in england for my own use. It seems that there is larger choice for lower prices than in France. Drive a RHD car will be not a big problem for me.

I'll be in UK the 28th of January for a couple of days and will search for my new car between Stansted (where I'll land) and Peterborough, collect it and drive it back directly to France. I look for several MG F/TF specialists in this area (Trophycars, MGFcars and some official MG dealers) and even found some nice TFs on Ebay, Pistonheads and Gumtree...

I come to you to ask you if you have some good returns and/or good advices to give me on the car, and/or on some used MG dealers. Perhaps some of you have a stuning and well cared TF to sell ? Perhaps we can meet soon just to talk about MGs behind a glass of beer ?

I know the point of this car is the headgasket and I'm searching for a car with these specs :

-Low mileage (50k max) with 2 previous owners max

-Nice body (int. and ext.) and alloys looking

-Complete history service with MOT and clear HPI

-Head gasket, cambelt, waterpump or coolant pipes done

-2 keys

Sorry for this long post but I think I need TF owners to become a happy TF owner to.
