ecu swap 45 idt

Hi guys my friend has a 45 saloon same as mine but a year apart could I swap the ecu and key fobs from his car to mine (his is remaped) it has the lucus alarm same as mine..... just wondering if there would be anything I would need to do or just plug in and play?
