No central locking or speakers

My 2000 rover 25 has an issue with its central locking and speakers. The alarm functions correctly and arms / disarms with the key in the drivers door. But all the other doors require manually opening as the central locking does not work.



Also the only speaker that workes is the one in the drivers door. I have tried changing the head unit.



I used to have an issue with the radio not working when the interior light was on and the doors were open' after I took the car to the electricians they found the boot loom to be shorting on the bodywork and it had blown a fuse. This was sorted however now my brake lights don't work...



I have had a Good look through these forums and it lead me to believe it was an issue with my 5AS box. I took this out and could not see any issues with it and the printed circuits were in tact.



Also when I put the rear window heater on the interior light dims slightly and I don't know if this is normal.



Any help would be greatly appreciated.
