Possible Battery Drain

Hi to everyone,

need some advice as I may have a battery drain on my 180, it's a mkII.

I have a few issues to explain with the car, I bought a new battery only last year in August but it needed recharging last night, and she fired up okay this morning. The car hasn't been driven since Boxing Day, and I don't use the ZS very often as I can walk to work, but the car is started up once a week until warm. Can the battery go flat in 3 weeks being so new?

The other issues with the car are I think I have a soggy sounder, as when battery was hooked up to car after charging the indicators just flashed with no alarm sounding, can a soggy sounder drain the car battery over time?

It seems like the car horn button only works intermittently also, there are vis indicators fitted, already on the car when I bought it, could there be an earthing issue causing a drain on the battery there? The Petron bcu unit, I think is okay as car immobilises and locks fine.

The alternator seems to be charging fine, could this just be a case of not letting the battery charge properly on a long run, with the car left on driveway,or could it be a dodgy newish battery that needs exchanging.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks :)
