Clutch issues - advice gladly received

Good morning ladies and gents,



Went to go out on Thursday to see some mates but clutch pedal was lumpy, wouldn't come back up and couldn't select any gears.



Had chance to look at it this morning and found this under the engine cover: (please let me know if you can't see it!)

What is my best option please?

I'm going to take it off now so I can look closer and take more pictures.
