new exhaust gaskets, improved sealing, fails emissions

new spark plugs, fails emissions

Original garage burns down

Nov

new O2 sensor, fails emissions at next garage

another new O2 sensor from MGOC, fails emissions

Dec

new temp sensor, fails emissions

Jan

new inlet manifold gasket, fails emissions

try decat to see if cat's working, hardly any worse

Feb

diagnostics at Dreadnought - 'new' O2 sensor not working

they fit nearly new Bosch O2 sensor which works, fails emissions

back home, another new cat - 'type approved' - PASS

but must now pass another full MoT, hopefully a formality



Deadlines - tax runs out end Feb, booked Silverstone track day March 10

Cost - I don't want to add it all up



And all the time, it's been running great, going like the clappers and putting out fewer pollutants over the year than my Renault which does pass the test.
