Do I have to remove Subframe

I know I'm going to need to replace my RH lower arm (wishbone) for the MOT as it's rusted quite badly but does the subframe HAVE to come out to do that. I'm a little nervous about tackling it and wondering what a garage is likely to charge me to do that and the rear subframe mounts which also need replacing. I have already bought the parts.
