Key fob

I want to change the battery on my key fob, but I'm having some difficulty - it's the oval type. I can get it partially off, but it looks to me as if the middle part has to be removed. Trouble is I can't see how to do it - and I don't want to break anything. Anyone got ant tips/advice?
