Low pressure from rear washer pipe
Hi. When I bought the 25, the rear washer wasn't working. It turned out to be a combination of blocked jets, & snapped pipe at the tailgate hinge. Repaired & working fine.
For the last few weeks, the rear washer hasn't been working again, so I assumed the same cause as before. I bought some aquarium airline, & a straight connector to fix the problem again.
Stripped the covers off to find that the pipe is fine, & the jets are clear.
with the pipe detached from the wash/wipe unit, water flows through the pipe, but doesn't have enough pressure to make it out of the jets.
I connected a length of pipe from the front n/s washer jet, to the rear washer jet, & it works perfectly.
Do you reckon it's likely to be a partial blockage in the pipe, reducing the pressure, or a worn pump?
Looks like a real ***** on, to get to the pump!
