rover 75 2.0 KV6 2001
Hi am new to the forum as today. Have a question for anyone in the know.
I have a 2.0 KV6 75 2001 saloon with 181,000 miles clocked that is having the timing belts tensioner and idler ( GKT616) water pump (continental) and fan belt changed in 3 weeks time , having done 65,000 on the current belts etc.
My question is i use 5w 40 fully synthetic oil and have done so since 143,000 miles on clock with no problems whatsoever , and am considering changing over to a 0w 40
Reason being that a 0w would flow much easier with less stress on the pump and so on i guess
Would this be okay or would anyone advise not to go with with 0w 40 for some other reason
