Vehicle storage
Dear All
How do those of you who have to store their cars off site, so to speak, manage?
I am struggling to find somewhere local that is affordable at the moment (which I need to secure before I can really get into classic Rover ownership)
I asked around at my local car club last night (our monthly meeting) and I was surprised how everyone said they didn't have any space, or know anyone who did (I am prepared to pay)
Some companies offer what seems like a good service - secure, monitored etc., but I can't justify £100 a month!
The cheaper end tend to be grotty lock-ups in dubious parts of town where if you aren't mugged to and/or from the garage, then will your car still be there next time you visit?! (maybe I exaggerate but I think you know the kind of thing I'm talking about)
What is the going-rate/ a fair monthly charge for dry and reasonably secure storage, is the bottom line?
Thanks
Andrew
