45 external air temp sensor AWOL

Got the e4 error on my climate control panel.



Searched on here and found e4 to be the external ambiente temp sensor open circuit.



Had a look at where it should be behind the number plate in the mesh section but it's AWOL? The bracket is there but no sensor, plug or loom.

Does anyone have any pics of the loom location and where it runs in the engine bay?
