Blanking plate fillers

I have a non ac ZR so have 2 spaces on that panel, then on the right there are 2 blanks, one for electric mirrors which I'm fitting, and another for a heated mirror switch? But I've read that's incorporated into the mirrors already.



Is it easy to wire up buttons to perform car functions? I was thinking about a dimming switch for the dials or something?
