differences between mgf vvc manifold/downpipe and mgtf vvc manifold/downpipe

I've just been looking at the different downpipes and exhaust manifolds that they use from the mgf and mg tf. The mgf used the 4 bolt downpipe and the mg tf uses the 6 bolt downpipe.



Here comes my question, is there any difference between the 2 different setups? And if so what is the difference?
