Electronic Handbrakes.

A strange question, but does anyone out there have an electronic handbrake on a manual car?



I am thinking of using one on the TF in the future and have been firing off some questions to aftermarket suppliers.



One response that I have had is that it can take 3 - 5 seconds for the brake to engage/disengage.



This is fine for parking, but what concerns me is whether it makes the e-brake unusable for hill starts and in traffic on a manual car.
