Help with geeky question.

Hi I want to get some new plates for my car. Plates for show naturally.



What would have been written on the bottom of the plate if it had been factory registered in March 2001? It's an MG, on an 'x' would this before MGR?



So would it have said 'Rover Group' with just a Rover Longship on it? And the Longbridge post code?



One more question. What would the dealer Marshall (Big East Midlands network) have had written on them?
