Loose Rotor Arm
Stopped tonight in the pitch black of course with a second loose rotor arm. Screw holding the thing on came out and rotor arm just spinning equals a non functioning motor. Only took 15 mins to fix as the screw is trapped in the dissy cap and it happened just over two years ago (about 10K)
Prior to that a garage was in the dissy about 15K ago to look for a "loss of sparks!" according the paperwork which came with the car.
Two things - has anyone else had this problem - Honda engine GSi 1.6 car early 1990 ?
Does it need a new spring washer or should I just loctite or similar it back in or check it every 8K miles?
The other identical car we run has never had such an issue and we have now covered 80K plus in it with no issues like this at all.
