No more MG5?

According to this MG brand video which includes the new MG 6 restyle as well as the MG GT and GS SUV there is no sign of the MG 5 anywhere.

Does that mean that SAIC have given up on it as they have admitted that the MG5 is nowhere competitive enough against the Golf, Focus and Astra and that they are hoping that the MG GT will be?



This could explain why MG Motor UK declined to bring the MG5 over here.
