outside temp sensor MGZT

trying to locate the outside temp sensor on my ZT.

On my 75 its easy to see but I cannot find the same looking sensor anywhere looking through the grille of the ZT.

Temp reading has been fine but today had a hot day here today and in traffic the outside temp reading went up to 39c and my feeling of the day was about 33c. Temp dropped back to an accurate reading after it was parked for a while and has been fine since but made me think maybe its stuck somewhere near the radiator ?
