Vvc Rev limit 6900rpm ?
My TF160 did only Rev to 5500rpm due to the previous owner/garage having messed up the VVC. Having now fixed the VVC and a blown sensor (errors now cleared from ECU) it revs up to about 6900. But why not 7200? I've checked the VVC mechanical timing and no reports of error codes in ECU.
I've heard that the ECU will limit to 7000 after it has once gone to 7200, but I can't get mine to ever to go that high. I have logged the ECU read rpm via an OBDII widget and the highest I've ever seen was 6955rpm.
Anyone any idea why or anyone else experienced this?
