input shaft or bearing?

Unhappyinput shaft or bearing?

I bought a zr around 2 years ago all was fine intill a few months ago when i lifted the clutch up to slow and the car wheel spun For 3 - 4 months when i start the car there is a wine there not loud but enough to hear it the clutch is up not in gear and its there i drive 10 miles and the noise is gone when the car is warm i know its coming from the box because when i press the clutch down the noise goes away then i lift it back up and comes back ive been told by a number of people its the realse bearing so i bought a new clutch kit to be told by a few garages who haven't looked at the car that it sounds like the input shaft so now im confused the clutch biting bite is very low and seems to have had a new clutch at some point ive no problems with the clutch and have driven it 100's of miles at any 1 time i am always up and down the motorway also i haven't checked the gear box fluid could this cause the noise? Ive noticed the release bearing sits onto the input shaft so if the shaft is gone the bearing will go next??

Could some one also post a pic of the gearbox drain plug ? I wanted to try and rain the box and refill it to see if it makes a difference Im guessing i just need to fill it intill there is a slow drip?
