Hi all. A couple of years ago I had the good fortune to fall over a pretty clean Ham Green 98 1.8 F. it was at a garage that wanted to remove the gearbox due to a seized clutch oporating shaft and the fact that it was dropping out of fith gear on the motoway. Thanks to the information and help on here I've managed to get all those faults sorted and I'm now enjoying driving it about in the sunshine.
When I discribed it on here it was thought that it may be an Abingdon spec car but I've recently found a car on ebay that says its an Abingdon but has a tan hood (which mine doesn't) and doesn't have a few things mine has. It also says that its one of only 150 VVCs made and mine is not a VVC model.
I was wondering if there was any firm information on what the Abindon spec actually was and if there should be a mension of "Abingdon" on the docs.
Any infomation would be greatfully received. Steve
