I'm looking to fit the bonnet light, my is a March 2002 TF, no more bonnet light but I have the switch with 2 cables and 2 diodes (Y399), one of the cables is free.
Which is the purpose of the diodes ? back-current
this is a grounding switch, to close the circuit to ground
