New exhaust woes.

New exhaust woes.

Bought a new exhaust off ebay.
Front pipe midle and rear section.

Eldest and youngest sons fitted it for me while I was working

It leaked and rattled
So I took it off and re did it.

All leaks gone but a rattle is still there

Problem is....................
Hard lock either left or right and the car tries to stall with the clutch depressed and on tickover (pulling into a parking space)

Performance other wise is excellent for a 17 year old car (corsa chavs don't expect a "grandad "car to beat them)

Oil was changed 1000 miles ago.
Cone filter was bathed 500 miles ago.

with no problems.

Exhaust change and it's undrivable in a car park.

No fault codes according to "Mr Paper clip"

Is the cat on the right way? Is it a 1 system and on back to front?

Is the ECU having a cow due to "a propper exhaust" being on instead of my "free flow bodge"

Is a wire chaffing somewhere?

Ps ,,,,,,

Pulled the battery lead to reset stuff and lost the radio lol(clock has never worked)

battery showing 12.78v at rest and 14.2 when running.
