A thread just for new and failrly new members!

The reduction in post and thread numbers has been discussed many times in the last year or so.

One of my theorys is that new or fairly new members do not feel able to contribute for one or more of the following reasons:

- They are new to the F or TF and therefore feel a little inadequate in terms of knowledge/what they know.
- they might feel shy or worried they might do or say the wrong thing.
- they might feel that they dont have 'the right' yet to express a strong opinion.
- they might not be sure about how to start a thread, post a photo, quote somebody else in their reply or whatever.

Well, what about leaving this thread just for the new/nearly new guys to chat about their cars and build their confidence a little?

They can post what they like, when they like, in a place where they feel 'amongst equals'.

They might want to say what attracted them to these great cars, how much they paid, niggly problems, likes/dislikes etc etc.

Is this a good idea?, do we need this thread? - well lets stand back and let the new guys tell us if this thread is needed shall we?

As always with this forum, everyone is welcome and has an equally valid opinion, but do they feel confident enough to express it?
