Flex joint in exhaust

Forum persons, my poor baby has blown her exhaust at the flexible joint in the mid-section between manifold and back box.
My trusted local mechanic has told me that replacement flexible bits can be sourced instead of replacing the whole mid section. Now I really have been sinking too much money into the car, but hey, she's lovely. The rest of the exhaust seems sound so I would rather just change her bendy bit
All the flexible pipe fixes I see on Ebay and such seem to be for the CDTs, so I need to know if the pipe size is the same, will it fit ? or does anyone have the correct pipe size needed (OD, ID, diameter, whatever) or even a link to where to find one for the 1800 petrol k series.
