Home Hifi in my campervan, Sparkies..?
Anyone brainy enough in the sparks dept. to advise me on this?
I've got a home-converted van I use as a camper, and want a little hifi in the back ('use a car stereo' I hear you say? No, I need a headphone jack - and NONE of them have that!) and I want to avoid inverters cos they thieve voltage. (they're known as 'the Devil's devices' in camper van circles)

Now, I've found a Philips 'flat' all-in-one-one home stereo which has a 12v socket and runs on a 240v to 12v power adaptor plug...

I'm thinking - can I simply connect the stereo direct to my 12v leisure battery supply?
Or is the voltage range (12.6 - 13.8v) too wide and likely to damage it?
